Budtenders

“Have you ever considered a career in the Cannabis industry? Well, we’re looking for full time and part time Budtenders! Previous experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred, though our priority is finding a team player with quality retail or customer service experience who fits the company culture, takes exquisite care of our customers, and is equally committed to driving sales and the overall success of our center. This position is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door for the industry, with plenty of room for growth within the company!”

Pay: $12-18/hr DOE (not including tips)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment
  • Promote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enter
  • Comply with established state, local and company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff
  • Execute selling standards to achieve individual sales goals and contribute to team’s daily sales goals; Cross-sell products to increase purchase amounts
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Utilize resources and tools to develop and continue ongoing knowledge of medical marijuana, compliance and customer service needs
  • Educate patients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on patient needs/requests
  • Maintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store and online
  • Input orders in a timely and accurate manner, collecting money from guests for products purchased, and making appropriate change
  • Quickly and precisely handling cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customers
  • Understand HIPPA compliance and keep all customer information confidential
  • Be eager to be cross-trained to work reception in addition to sales floor
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as directed

Requirements:

  • Retail / Customer Service experience
  • Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced drawer
  • Ability to perform to sales goals and team goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and strong problem solving skills
  • General cannabis knowledge – all forms of flower, concentrates, and topicals
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to obtain a South Dakota issued Cbadge prior to employment

Receptionist/Front Desk

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the front-line, first impression for ensuring our mission and values are conveyed to our patients
  • Check in existing and new customers
  • Manage the flow of the lobby and customer queue to ensure all customers are helped in a timely manner
  • Maintain a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment
  • Promote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enter
  • Comply with established state, local and company policies and procedures

  • Update menus in store and online as inventory updates, ensure continued accuracy
  • Maintain proper patient information and records
  • Understand HIPPA compliance and keep all customer information confidential
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as directed
  • Answer phones in a welcoming and pleasant manner while providing resources or information to fulfill patient needs
  • Be eager to be cross-trained to work the sales floor in addition to reception
  • Provides administrative assistance as needed
